A group of English school children were once given three types of Japanese rhymes.

The first was a popular rhyme known by the majority of the population. Think of it as the Japanese version of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”.

The second was a newly created verse that was unknown to anyone outside of the experiment. Think of it as a poem tightly sealed in your diary.

The third was a series of random words with no inherent meaning. Think of it as the lyrics to a Lil Baby song.

They were then asked to memorise the song lyrics. As you can imagine, English speaking students who have never done a lick of Japanese study may have found this quite the challenge.

The results however, were pretty wild. Students were able to learn the popular rhyme much more quickly than the others. The made up lyrics were the hardest to learn.

Similarly, psychologist Arden Mahlberg taught subjects both the official Morse code and a newly invented version in another study. He also found that the more popular Morse code was learned more easily and quickly.

It’s not just humans that exist in harmonic interplay through invisible lines.

Scientist William McDougall trained rats to escape a water tank by choosing the correct gangway to avoid an electric shock. Remarkably, he noticed that each new iteration of rats learned this task faster than the previous ones, even without direct training.

And it’s not just living beings that are interconnected through instinctual fields of consciousness.

Pluck a G string on a guitar, and the corresponding key on the piano will vibrate.

Scream at a high enough pitch in a room, the glass will shatter as it resonates at the same frequency.

Ever wonder why you get shivers down your spine when you hear something profound?

It’s a somatic response to something that resonates with the fibres of your being.

Follow it.

This is what Rupert Sheldrake refers to as morphic resonance. This is what the homies refer to as “Raising the Vibration.” Everything that happens creates an imprint, shaping the patterns of the future and connecting us to a larger field of the collective conscious.

Certain stories, rhythms, or ideas resonate deeply within us. They are summoned from the imaginal realm - the unifying field of the Dreamtime that connects us all.

This is what I mean when I speak of the web of life. This is what I mean when I say we are interconnected. And this is why everything you do matters.

Wow, that really resonates

Every thought, feeling, and action echoes through the boundaries of time and space.

When you read the words I write to you, my assumption is that you will agree with me on some of the things I share, but not just at a cerebral level. There is something being stirred within you. A remembering.

A re-membering.

The primary way in which we connect with the world is not logical. It is not rational. It is somatic. It is intuitive. It is soul-led. We just use logic to justify behaviours that are driven from somewhere much deeper.

This is why our ancestors devoted so much time to drumming, singing, and dancing. The vibratory harmonisation entrained them into deeper connection, enabling them to play, love, and trust freely through ritual bonding.

Without the distractions of the modern world they were able to connect to the deeper currents of the river, rock, sky and stars.

And where does this leave us today? The default “strung out primate” setting many of those in the WIERD world (Western, industrialised, educated, rich, democratic) operate from, is severed from nature’s rhythms.

The lack of resonance and deeper connection from the majority of our relationships, institutions, and social structures will continue to ring hollow until we snap out of surface level connections to a deeper truth.

As we become increasingly aware of the superficial nature of our digital interactions, we will seek out deeper, more meaningful connections and experiences. This longing for something REAL will only compel us to reconnect with ourselves, with each other, and with the natural world.

The soul's yearning will guide us back to our true essence and become our salvation.

All is connected

The Universe keeps the score

To each and every one of you that is trudging away in the gentle night; clearing emotional debris, cracking your heart open in the face of rejection, smashing through the walls of your limiting beliefs and striving to bring your medicine.

Keep going. It’s working.

The old stories are dying as we rise from the ashes of separation. And the internet (despite its drawbacks) is playing a major role in distributing wisdom that has been kept from us for tens of thousands of years.

The curses and collective spells are being broken as we liberate our spirit from the shackles of fear and the shadows of doubt.

We are in the age of the heart centred warrior.

We are in the age of the creative alchemist.

We are in the age of the soulful leader.

The question from the wide eyed sprouts of the future will soon become - where were you when the new world was being born?

And you will share stories of how, at first, no-one around believed you.

How lonely you were for dry and arid months as you reconfigured your reality. How alienated you felt in a world that was driven by shiny lights and booby traps.

How you fell in to the traps yourself. The mindless chatter. The endless scrolling. The empty highs, the empty sex, the empty commitments.

The rollercoaster of ecstatic highs and peak experiences that quickly dissolved in to apathy, avoidance and disassociation.

Eager ears and curious eyes will follow your stories with - why did this happen?

And you will share the stories of how systems of control created a perfectly tuned society where people thought they were free - but only within the parameters of what they were conditioned to believe was possible.

Through an intricate web of media, education and taxation systems they hypnotised the world in to serving an Empire that existed solely to exploit people.

You will share how people gladly gave over their rights, money and free will out of ignorance and disempowerment.

How they were too divided to see each others shared humanity. As you reminisce, you laugh at how the spell had you woven in to the story of separation as well.

And how this lack of sovereignty allowed the control systems to then exploit other countries around the world for their resources.

The question will then become - what did you do to overcome this all?

As you discovered your soul, you also found others - your tribe, awakening to the same truths.

Moments of synchronicity and uncanny alignments guided you on your path. The materialists of the old world would never fully grasp that these were not mere coincidences, but the universe affirming your journey.

The evolutionary impulse that is guiding you towards certain places, people and ideas isn’t just coming from anywhere.

As you continue to connect, heal, grow, and authentically express yourself, you will harmonise with everything else, just like the Japanese rhymes, mice in a maze, or the guitar and piano - all resonating at the same frequency.

Each action, each thought, each step you take is like a note echoing through the cosmic symphony. As you sink deeper into your soul's purpose, you will join the collective choir, singing the song you were born to sing.

Naturally; each action, thought and step that isn’t in alignment with both the heart and a better world for all will also create more of the same. More neggy minds will only beget more neggy minds.

Life is not happening at you. It is responding to you.

The four key drivers of our human experience, the drive to connect, the drive to grow, the drive to purge and the drive to express are all the evolutionary impulses that are pushing us to the new world. Through rituals we can harness them for individual and collective liberation. And there has never been a more fertile time to do so.

So to each and every one of you, remember this: every effort you make, every truth you speak, and every act of love you perform contributes to the morphic field of a more resonant, interconnected, and harmonious world.

Keep going.
